Our nature-based therapy sessions break away from the traditional office setting, allowing you to experience the profound healing effects of combining movement, fresh air, and the beauty of the natural world. Whether you prefer to sit on a park bench for a thoughtful discussion or take a walk through the woods on an easy trail in peaceful silence, our sessions provide a unique therapeutic experience in the serene surroundings of nature.

During a nature-based session with Michelle, you’ll learn to regulate your nervous system, manage your thoughts, and decrease stress and anxiety.
This approach focuses on helping you work with your mind and body to achieve a balanced emotional state.
If we agree that nature-based sessions are appropriate for you and your therapeutic treatment goals, we will discuss how it differs from office-based sessions and complete an additional waiver for outdoor sessions. We would choose a local outdoor area for subsequent sessions such as a local park or an easy trail.
We’ll engage in a therapeutic conversation tailored to your needs just as we would in an office or online session and incorporate nature-based mindfulness exercises, breathing techniques, and simple mind-body practices while walking or sitting outside.
